How it works
Three steps to a permanent ID
- Create an accountSign up and add your organisation. We check each new organisation before it registers records.
- Describe your objectFill in the form for its type, or upload CSV or XML, or send JSON to the REST API.
- Get its Taxonmark IDThe record is registered at once, with its own record page, citations and machine-readable formats.

Why give these objects an ID?
Know exactly which one
- Accountability. Say which model version was deployed, evaluated or involved in an incident, and keep that link after web pages change.
- Lineage. Link releases, deployments, agents, evaluations and outputs with typed relationships, and see the graph.
- Credit. Cite an object precisely, in any reference manager.
- Persistence. A record is never deleted. If an object is withdrawn, its ID still opens a page that says so.
